We parked at Longlands and then followed a bridleway along the bottom and then up our first peak.

Navigation was easy because their was a good path to the peak and the weather was cold and windy but clear.
At Great Scar we could see all our remaining peaks.
Because it was cold and windy and we were aware that we had limited sunlight we pushed on.
At the top of Knott we could see a lot. We could see some of the peaks we had climbed before, e.g. Blencathra and Bowscale etc.
When we got to our final peak we studied the map and found a better route back to the car.
