We started the walk from Mungrisedale. We slowly followed the valley floor up to Mungrisedale Common. Part of the path had been erroded by the recent floods. We then walked east to the highest point.

We then walked to Bowescale Fell 'hand-railing' the crags on the way.

The weather was a little foggy when we got to the top so we quickly descended before it got worse.
