Red Screes (776m) and Middle Dodd (654m)

I lead the first part of the walk. I found our starting point on the map and then 'handrailed' the river to the the top of Scandle Pass. We then headed south east to the top of Red Screes.

We took some photographs at the top of Red Screes and then pushed NNE to Middle Dodd.

Middle Dodd (NY397069)

We took another couple of pictures at Middle Dodd and then headed SSW traversing the hill until we picked up the path again.


We 'handrailed' the river again and picked the pace because it was starting to snow.


I felt tired at the end because it was my first proper walk in ages .
