We started the walk from the Pheasant Inn. The Pheasant in was north east of the hill.We walked up through a forest making sure that we avoided the tree felling areas.
When we left the forest I navigated by myself to a spot height near Sale fell. Ali met me there.
We then walked together to the summit.
I enjoyed the challenge of navigating, using a map, by myself. It was a nice sunny day and the view was good.
