Alistair made me find the location of the event by using the grid reference above. It was a bit like playing ‘Battle ship’.
When we got there I signed up and got a doggle and a map.
I then started the course by putting my doggle in the start control point.
I had to get each of the control points in order.
I looked at the map and found the control points by finding landmarks and feature near to them.
It was a bit rough because the grass was very long and this made it hard to walk in and see the control points and the landmarks.
