Outdoor First Aid



On the 16th and 17th of November I completed a two day first aid course.
I felt I learnt a lot, it was really good.

Some of the things that I learnt were;

Assess Dangers

Before you go to a casuality it is important that you check for dangers to yourself, the casualty and others.


AVPU

Alert, Visual, Pain and Unconcious 


ABC (Airways, Breathing and Circulation)




CPR

Listening and feeling for breathing and watching for
chest movement.


Giving 30 chest compression

Giving 2 breaths for every 30 compression unless it's a
child then it is 5 breaths.
