Carrock Fell and High Pike Horsehoe

Carrock Fell Summit (661m)

We parked the car below Carrock fell and made our way up without following a defined path, it was hard going. But once we got to the top the rest of the walk was fairly flat and much easier.

                                    Although it was a little cloudy the views were good.

We sheltered from the wind in  a small gulley on the way to High Pike and had some lunch.

At High Pike we were hopeing to see Carlisle but the weather was a bit foggy.

On the way home we home we stopped for a hot chocolate at the Reghed centre
