Mungrisdale Common 633m

We parked at the bottom of Blease fell and followed the bridleway north to the base of Mungrisedale common.

The walk up was really boggy and we got a little wet.

We walked up Mungrisdale Common NY312292 

After we left the peak of Mungrisdale common the going got easy and we steamed up to Blancathra stopping at the to of Striding edge to have a look.

The walk along the edge of Blencathra had some amazing views because the sun was low on the horizon and this cast some interesting shadows.
