Refreshing a used canvas

After looking through my art work I decided that there was some art work that I no longer liked. Rather than throw the canvas out I decided to refresh them to use again and save money.

Stuff you need; a brush, baby
wipes and  white primary.

After preparing the area I wiped the canvas down with baby
wipes to get the loose dust and dirt off.

I then covered the whole canvas with the primer.

I then went back over the canvas again in the opposite
direction using very light brushstrokes. I did this to to avoid
leaving brush marks on the canvas.

If, after drying, colour is still showing through you can give it another coat.
If  the canvas has a rough finish you can lightly sandpaper it and then repeat the steps above.
